The Milan Fashion Week is coming!
During this event, Orequo will participate, starting from Thursday the 20th to Sunday the 23rd of February, to the newest edition of Super #15, Pitti Immagine's women's accessories and ready-to-wear salon, where the new F/W 2020-2021 collections will be presented.
Orequo's aim, through its products, is to hand down history and culture and, for the next fall/winter season, has created a precious collections of stoles in wool/silk blend dedicated to the greatest work of Dante Alighieri, the Divina Commedia.
Divina Collezione consists of three designs, like the three songs of the work, and retraces the allegorical journey through Hell, Purgatory and Paradise, to celebrate the high poet's 700th anniversary in 2021.
The distinctive and characteristic sign for these three illustrations is the color, for each one a particular shade and its tones in gradation: Inferno will in fact have a red color base, Purgatory a green one and Paradise a blue tone.
For the anniversary Orequo has decided to pay homage to the author who represents an entire culture. Dante is in fact a patrimony that constitutes the Italian cultural identity and, in this regard, Orequo has decided to create a new hashtag on social networks for this collection: #tramanDANTE, to narrate and perpetuate Dante also through fashion.
Orequo will also present Supercontinenti, the brand new collection of 100% twill silk stoles di stole in seta twill 100% representing the symbolic atmospheres of the four continents, in the way in which they were known until the 19th century.
Many artists, such as the Flemish painter Pieter Paul Rubens, the italian artist Giambattista Tiepolo and the sculptor Giovanni Battista Mazzoleni from Bergamo, allegorically represented the continents known so far. Orequo wanted to be inspired and portray Europe, traditional and classic, with its artistic and architectural elements, Africa, natural and harmonious, with its animal and floral figures, America, surreal and dreamlike, characterized by circus elements and eagle feathers and Asia, futuristic and exotic, between origami and robots.
For the F/W 2020-21 season, moreover, a new product, the cape, is added, made by wool with silk inserts.
The cape is the new outerwear proposed by Orequo for the next winter season. Two models, one with an urban chic style and one sophisticated classic, both enriched with silk inserts that reflect the millennial tradition of Japan through representations of elements linked to its culture.
To discover Divina Collezione and the other new stories illustrated on fabrics, Orequo will be at the Padiglione Visconti in via Tortona 58, former Ansaldo laboratory.
